The binomial distribution is used to test experiments that end in a pass/fail result.
N is the number of trials in the experiment.
R is the number of successes in the experiment (also called x).
P is the probability of a single trial passing.
Q is the probability of a single trial failing, or 1 - p.
The result is the percentage that given n trials, there will be exactly p successes. Also given as results are the mean (µ), the variance and standard deviation.
